The job placement process starts by finding a job on Olsten.com. Simply use the job search bar at the top of every page, or use our advanced search form. Once you find a job, click the "Apply now" button.
An Olsten recruiter will contact you if your application is a match for any open positions. If you are identified as a potential candidate, you might be asked to log back into the site to provide additional information. We will verify your references and you may be asked to complete a skills assessment and job-fit analysis. If you meet our hiring criteria, you will be presented to clients for consideration. Some clients may require drug and background screens prior to starting your assignment.
Yes. We want you to be successful and happy in your new position, so we will touch base with you frequently. If you are on a temporary assignment that is about to end we will contact you to determine your availability for a new position. We also offer comprehensive online training for free through Olsten SkillBuilder so you can get the skills and knowledge you need to progress in your career. If you are interested in SkillBuilder, contact your Olsten representative to learn more and get access to the system from any computer that has an Internet connection.

The application works in all modern browsers including Internet Explorer 7+, Firefox 3.6+, Safari 5+ and Chrome. Please note that Internet Explorer 6.5 is not supported. The application process works on both Windows and Mac machines.
If you have a LinkedIn profile, you'll be able to use it to create your Olsten.com profile. Click the "Import from LinkedIn" button and a small window will open containing the LinkedIn.com login. If you are not signed in to LinkedIn, you will be prompted to sign in to your LinkedIn account and will be asked if you want to grant Olsten access to your LinkedIn information. If you are signed in to LinkedIn, you will simply be asked to grant Olsten access to your information. Once granted, Olsten will pull your work history, education, and contact information to create your Olsten profile. You will be able to review the information that has been pulled over and make changes prior to final submittal to Olsten. This process does not grant Olsten permanent access to your LinkedIn account.
