Olsten Staffing is Hiring: Handyman in North Myrtle Beach Area

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Join Our Team as a Handyman!

Olsten Staffing is seeking an experienced Handyman to oversee property, building, and grounds maintenance operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety, appearance, and functionality of the property while providing exceptional service to residents and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee building, grounds, and property maintenance

• Coordinate and perform preventive maintenance programs

• Manage work orders and maintenance requests

• Maintain fire protection, security, and emergency systems

• Ensure OSHA and safety compliance standards are met

• Handle landscaping, mowing, weed eating, leaf removal, and debris cleanup

• Operate commercial mowers, tractors, excavators, and company vehicles

• Perform basic repairs involving electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems

• Maintain maintenance equipment, tools, and shop organization

• Assist with pool and amenity preparation and maintenance

• Respond to emergencies and participate in an on-call rotation

• Communicate professionally with residents, contractors, vendors, and management

Qualifications

✅ Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience
✅ Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and carpentry repairs
✅ Experience operating landscaping and maintenance equipment
✅ Strong customer service and communication skills
✅ Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
✅ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

Preferred Experience

• Property maintenance

• Landscaping and groundskeeping

• Small engine equipment operation and maintenance

• Preventive maintenance programs

• Work order management systems

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Working in both indoor and outdoor environments

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
