Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in Bethune, South Carolina to find an experienced and eager SHIPPING & RECEIVING COORDINATOR to join their growing team!

The shipping and receiving coordinator will manage all daily shipping and receiving activities.  This position is responsible for coordinating freight carriers, processing shipping paperwork, tracking shipments, and ensuring products and materials are handled safely and accurately.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities.

• Review shipping orders and print load sheets for warehouse personnel.

• Arrange freight pickups and deliveries with carriers.

• Prepare and verify bills of lading (BOLs), packing lists, invoices, shipping labels, and other required paperwork.

• Load and unload trucks and trailers according to shipping documentation and safety procedures.

• Handle finished goods, raw materials, and auxiliary materials.

• Process receiving transactions for incoming raw materials.

• Build pallets and prepare orders for shipment as needed.

• Enter freight charges and shipment information into computer systems.

• Coordinate return shipments and manage waste and recycling sales.

• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.

• Assist with physical inventory and shipment tracking.

• Communicate with freight carriers and warehouse personnel to ensure timely deliveries.

• Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver's license or forklift certification.

• Good computer skills and the ability to use shipping and inventory systems.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to complete paperwork accurately and maintain records.

• Good communication skills when working with warehouse personnel and freight carriers.

• Ability to follow safety procedures and handle materials properly.

• Previous shipping, receiving, or logistics experience preferred.

Pay rate for this position is $19 an hour.

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
