Position Overview

The Machine Operator I is responsible for operating production equipment, inspecting parts, and supporting manufacturing processes while maintaining quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to producing quality work.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Accurately interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.

  • Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently under supervision.

  • Use precision measuring instruments, including:

    • Calipers

    • Micrometers

    • Thread gauges

    • Height gauges

  • Perform in-process inspections to ensure products meet specifications and tolerances.

  • Make minor tool changes and machine adjustments to maintain production quality.

  • Report equipment issues or production concerns promptly.

  • Maintain accurate production and inspection records.

  • Follow established quality control standards and procedures.

  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S standards.

  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, production, machining, or machine operation experience preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

  • Experience using precision measuring tools is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.

  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Pay Details: $15.25 to $18.25 per hour
