Olsten Staffing is seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to join a leading manufacturing company as a Cleaner Operator I. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while developing valuable production and machine operation skills.
Position Summary
The Cleaner Operator I is responsible for maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards while operating various work centers and production equipment. Qualified candidates will be detail-oriented, team-focused, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain acceptable safety, quality, and productivity levels
Operate various work centers and production equipment as needed
Accurately complete daily production sheets and job clocking records
Verify production counts and maintain accurate documentation
Learn and perform machine setups as required
Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time
Identify and report scrap, defects, or production concerns to leadership
Use hand tools safely and effectively
Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and leadership
Support a positive team environment
Maintain regular, dependable attendance
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience preferred
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Basic math and recordkeeping skills
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable transportation and attendance

This position is located in a manufacturing facility and may include:
Exposure to noise and varying temperatures
Working around moving machinery and production equipment
Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and steel-toed shoes
