1st shift forklift operator

Olsten is assisting in recruiting for a current 1st shift forklift driver position for a well-established company located in Mullins, SC. If you meet the following requirements pleases click on Apply Now.
 

1. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
   • Drive a forklift in an efficient and safe manner
   • Do simple maintenance checks on forklifts
   • Load and unload all types of trucks and materials
   • Operate stretch wrap machine
   • Stack and unstack pallets
   • Keep legible records
   • Keep work area neat and clean
   • Pull rework and reassemble
   • Work in other departments as a fill-in if needed
   • Enter  inventory  data into inventory tracking system

 

1. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or GED preferred

 

1. JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Must be able to drive a forklift in an efficient and safe manner
  • Must be proficient in reading and math
  • Must be able to work without supervision
  • Must be able to follow directions
  • Computer literate for data entry

 

1. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

• GMP’S
  • General safety
  • Controlling food allergens in the plant
  • Forklift safety

 

1. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. of product occasionally
  • Lifting manually limited 5% of the day
  • Standing 35% of the day

 

1. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)

• Safety equipment to be used as instructed

 

1. WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Work performed in a plant environment
  • Exposed to any number of elements (heat, steam and cold)
  • Sitting @ desk and or on forklift 65% of the day

Frequently during the day getting on and off of fork truck

Pay Details: $14.00 per hour
