Olsten Staffing is currently recruiting for a Pathology Transcriptionist in the Little River, SC area.
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Three days per week, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Job Responsibilities:
Transcribe medical reports, physician notes, and patient records accurately and efficiently
Review and edit transcriptions for grammar, clarity, and medical accuracy
Listen to recorded dictation from healthcare providers and convert into written documents
Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Ensure proper formatting and documentation standards are met
Communicate with physicians and staff to clarify unclear dictation when needed
Manage multiple reports and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Fill in for PTO Time
Qualifications & Requirements:
Previous experience as a Medical Transcriptionist preferred
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and healthcare documentation
Excellent typing, grammar, and proofreading skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic computer applications
Strong listening and comprehension skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Must have Pathology-PRN experience
