Olsten Staffing is assisting a client in Myrtle Beach, SC in finding a Drywall Technician. This is a temp to hire position. Apply now if you meet the qualifications below!
Responsibilities for this position:
- Measure, cut, and fasten drywall to studs, apply tape and joint compound (mud), sand surfaces for a smooth, seamless finish.
- Ensure work done adheres to blueprints.
- Assessing, cutting out, and patching damaged or broken drywall.
- Creating precise holes for electrical outlets, plumbing, and fixtures using saws or knives.
- Cleaning up debris and maintaining a safe, organized, and compliant work area.
Qualifications for this job:
- A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD IS REQUIRED (Must provide copy of DMV record)
- Able to lift to 50lbs. unassisted
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Able to pass drug screen and background checks
- Must be willing to work in environments with high temperatures, soot and debris, along with various odors caused by fire and mold.
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and documentation that is required
- Prior restoration/maintenance/home remodeling and drywall experience is a NEED!
- MUST BE CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED!
Pay will start at $15/hr and based on experience will start higher. Work hours are Monday Friday 7/8am - 4/5pm. MUST HAVE FLEXABILITY WITH HOURS AND DAYS (may be required to work weekends at times) If on call and needed for a disaster, you will be PAID DOUBLE TIME!

Pay Details: $15.00 to $18.00 per hour
