Pay Rate: $14.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Olsten Staffing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Order Finalizer to join our client’s distribution team in Tabor City, NC. The ideal candidate will ensure that customer shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.


Position Overview:

The Order Finalizer plays a key role in the fulfillment process by verifying order accuracy, performing material handling tasks, and finalizing shipments in accordance with company standards. This position operates within a fast-paced, highly automated environment and supports multiple work areas as needed to achieve operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Order Processing & Finalization

  • Verify order contents and finalize shipments to ensure accuracy prior to dispatch

  • Handle materials including unboxing, quality inspection, and reboxing of automotive parts

  • Meet or exceed quality and performance standards

2. Operational Flexibility

  • Assist in other warehouse areas as needed to support distribution operations

  • Participate in cross-training to build a versatile skill set

3. Performance & Compliance

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and meet required performance goals

  • Record daily performance in the Labor Tracker Metrics System

4. Continuous Improvement & Training

  • Engage in training and improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency

5. Safety & Workplace Standards

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

  • Safely operate powered industrial trucks and material handling equipment

6. Attendance & Reliability

  • Demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality

7. Additional Duties

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the DC Manager or Supervisor


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1–3 years in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution setting (small parcel and LTL processing preferred)

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required

  • Skills:

    • Basic computer proficiency; knowledge of distribution systems preferred

    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

    • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with automotive parts a plus

  • Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods

    • Frequent bending, reaching, and movement throughout the warehouse

    • Comfortable working in varying temperatures and warehouse noise levels

Pay Details: $14.00 per hour
