Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in the Dillon, SC area in their search for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. This is a long-term, temporary to hire opportunity! This is a great opportunity to work in a professional office environment supporting an established municipal finance team.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Processing vendor invoices and payments accurately and timely
Reconciling accounts and maintaining financial records
Assisting with month-end closing and reporting
Communicating with vendors and internal departments regarding billing and payments
Requirements:
Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a related accounting role
Proficient in Microsoft Work and Microsoft Excel (creating and using spreadsheets, formulas, data entry)
Knowledge of accounting principles
Understand payments, accounting, and budgeting
Strong time management skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Hourly pay for the Accounts Payable Clerk position is $18.00. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity.
