Olsten Staffing is assisting a client in Conway, SC to find Quality Assurance Technicians to join their team! This position is full-time, long-term and will require working rotating 12-hour shifts. Apply now if you meet the qualifications below!
Responsibilities for this job include-
Working safely while testing materials, chemicals, gases, solvents and other test materials
Visually and mechanically inspect samples of amorphous metal alloy products for conformity to specifications.
Prepare samples for elemental analysis by sectioning or crushing using ring pulverizer mill.
Conduct analysis using wide array of testing equipment, including carbon/sulfur and oxygen/nitrogen analyzers, mass balance and various hand tools.
Average/review test results and record data in computer/QA system.
Qualifications for this job include-
High School Diploma or GED
Chemical background, training, and/or relevant industrial/mechanical experience.
Ability to conduct analysis, accurately interpret and record test results and data
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
Basic computer skills including ability to enter, retrieve and evaluate data. Will be required to take assessments to prove data entry and math knowledge.
Above-average math skills
Excellent communication skills
Able to work rotating 12-hour shifts.
Reliable transportation and attendance - attendance issues can cause production lines unable to run
This position will start at $17.00/hr. and the schedule is 12 hour rotating shifts. Rotating 7:00am – 7:00pm to 7:00pm – 7:00am (shifts change every 2 weeks); overtime, as needed.

Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
