Olsten Staffing Services is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Production Technician position in Sumter. This is a temporary opportunity.
As a Production Technician you will be responsible for letdown, premix, batch adds, cleaning containers, and checking grinds. Apply Now if you meet the qualifications listed below! Responsibilities for Production Technician job include:
Prebatch gathering raw materials for batch making process.
Double check material and compare to batch card.
Calculate total volume of premix to determine adequate tank size.
Check all containers for cleanliness.
Must be okay with the smell of paint
Sandmill operating will be a must, experience is recommended.
Letdown and Batch adds (for R&D lab)
Housekeeping and cleaning.
Protect themselves at all times including work practices, emergency procedures.
Handling hazardous material as required.
Must be able to work in a production/manufacturing environment, subject to high temperatures
All other duties as assigned by supervisor or Production Manager
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Must be able to bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs continuously

Pay Details: $16.00 to $16.50 per hour
