Olsten Staffing is hiring a Distribution Center Material Handler!
📍 Location: Florence Area
🕐 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
📅 Schedule: Monday–Friday & weekends as needed
💼 JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for dependable, safety-minded individuals to join a busy Distribution Center. The Material Handler will be responsible for receiving, storing, moving, staging, and shipping materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and following all safety procedures.
🔧 RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive and inspect incoming materials and shipments
Verify shipments against Bills of Lading (BOL)
Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and tuggers
Scan and store materials in designated locations
Load and unload trailers safely
Prepare and ship materials according to company standards
Stage materials accurately for shipment
Perform inventory counts and report discrepancies
Consolidate materials into crates as required
Maintain clean and organized work areas using 5S standards
Follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, and CT-PAT procedures
Complete required shipping and receiving documentation
✅ REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED
0–1 year of warehouse or material handling experience required
Previous forklift/material-handling equipment experience preferred
Experience using scanners or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to safely perform physical warehouse duties

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
