Olsten Staffing is currently hiring an experienced Prep/Catering Cook in Florence, SC!
We're looking for someone with 3–5 years of verifiable prep and/or catering cooking experience who can work independently after training and is ready to be a dependable, hands-on team player.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced kitchen professional who enjoys a fast-paced environment and understands that working in a small operation means being willing to pitch in wherever needed. 🙌
🔪 Key Responsibilities
🥕 Prepare food for catering events and daily kitchen operations
🍳 Assist with line cooking and other kitchen duties as needed
🧽 Wash dishes and maintain a clean, organized kitchen
🗑️ Take out trash and assist with general cleaning
🤝 Support coworkers in various kitchen and operational roles
🧼 Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures
📦 Help ensure catering orders and daily operations run smoothly
📅 Schedule
🏪 Open to the Public: Tuesday–Saturday
🍽️ Catering Operations: Monday–Saturday
📆 Occasional Sunday shifts may be required for catering events
⏰ Schedule may vary based on business and catering needs

👨🍳 3–5 years of prep and/or catering cook experience
✅ Verifiable kitchen experience
⏰ Reliable and dependable attendance
💪 Ability to work independently after training
😊 Positive attitude and team-first mindset
🔥 Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
🧹 Willingness to assist with dishes, cleaning, trash, food prep, and other kitchen tasks

Pay Details: $14.00 to $18.00 per hour
