JOB SUMMARY:
Maintenance Technician is skilled and self-sufficient, capable of maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and facility systems. This position involves independent problem-solving, interaction with equipment vendors, and oversight of external service providers to ensure uptime and performance of all plant systems.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of production and support equipment.
Work under the direction of the Maintenance Lead on maintenance projects and priorities.
Independently resolve mechanical, electrical, and facility-related issues.
Execute preventive maintenance plans to reduce downtime as required.
Diagnose root causes of equipment failure and implement corrective actions.
Maintain and track critical spare parts inventory.
Coordinate with Maintenance Tech Lead for repairs, PMs, and upgrades requiring outside resources.
Lead or assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
Provide technical training and guidance to junior maintenance staff.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety protocols at all times.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and vendor interactions.
Supply and maintain standard hand tools; specialized tools provided by On Time.
Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Experience with Preventative Maintenance Software desired.
Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude. 2 years of experience in an equipment maintenance environment desired.
High School diploma minimum. Associate degree in math or science desired
Experience managing projects of varying complexity and scope.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interpret simple blueprints and technical diagrams.
Able to work overtime as needed.
Able to perform all duties and responsibilities listed safely and wear required PPE.
Able to report to work on time each work day.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
