*Material Handler with Forklift Experience Needed!*
Olsten Staffing is assisting a local company in Manning, SC with their search for a Material Handler with Forklift Experience.
Job Summary:
Responsible for loading and unloading products from trucks. Moves raw material and finished products to proper location within the warehouse. Delivers raw materials to production areas as required. Moves finished goods/purchased goods to proper warehouse locations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operates material handling equipment such as fork lifts, pallet jacks, etc.
Ensures equipment is maintained and operating properly
Operate within standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
Communication with Operators and Supervisors
Clean and maintain work area.
Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
Accurately complete and process documents and reports as necessary.
Perform back-up for others as required
Promote teamwork and build a culture of continuous improvement
Other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to obtain fork lift certification.
Able to read a tape measure
Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.
Able to work overtime as needed.
Able to perform all duties and responsibilities listed safely and wear required Personal Protective Equipment.
Able to report every work day, on time and for the entire shift.
Must have positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
