We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Truck Driver to transport materials and finished products efficiently and on schedule. The driver will be responsible for operating company vehicles safely, completing required inspections and documentation, and providing professional service to customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate assigned commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
Pick up and deliver materials and finished products according to scheduled routes.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Verify loads, shipping documents, quantities, and delivery instructions.
Secure cargo properly and monitor load condition during transportation.
Maintain accurate driver logs, mileage records, fuel receipts, and delivery documentation.
Communicate delays, mechanical issues, accidents, or delivery concerns promptly.
Obtain required signatures and submit completed proof-of-delivery documents.
Maintain the cleanliness and basic condition of the assigned vehicle.
Report maintenance needs and safety concerns immediately.
Assist with loading and unloading when required.
Provide courteous and professional service to customers.
Follow all workplace safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
Qualifications
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
Clean or acceptable motor vehicle record.
Current DOT medical certification.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
Ability to complete required inspections and documentation accurately.
Ability to operate relevant equipment, such as liftgates, pallet jacks, or forklifts, when authorized.
Strong reliability, communication, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and follow delivery schedules.
Previous commercial driving experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
Ability to enter and exit the vehicle safely and frequently.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull.
Ability to work in varying weather, traffic, warehouse, and customer-site conditions.
Ability to assist with securing, loading, and unloading products as required.
Schedule and Travel
Schedule: Monday through Friday [6AM-4:30PM]
Route type: Local deliveries
Overnight travel: not required
Overtime, weekend, or holiday work may be required based on business needs.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay: [$25-$30]

What they will be driving
It’s a regular tractor hauling a 53’ trailer.
From time to time, they will drive the box truck which is 26’
Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
