Welder – 2nd Shift
📍 Location: Lamar, SC
💰 Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour
🕕 Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM–3:00 AM
⏰ Overtime: Possible overtime on Fridays as needed
About the Position
Olsten Staffing is currently seeking experienced Welders to join a manufacturing team in Lamar, SC. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled welders who have hands-on welding experience, take pride in producing quality work, and enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities 🛠️
Perform MIG welding according to specifications and production requirements.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
Set up welding equipment and make adjustments as needed.
Inspect completed welds and finished products to ensure quality standards are met. ✅
Use welding equipment, hand tools, and measuring instruments.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all safety policies and procedures. 🦺
Work efficiently to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications ✔️
Previous welding work experience required; MIG welding experience strongly preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
Ability to use a tape measure and basic measuring tools.
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Ability to produce consistent, quality welds.
Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work 2nd shift and overtime as needed.
Physical Requirements 💪
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive tasks as needed.
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing and welding environment.

Pay Details: $27.00 per hour
