NOW HIRING: 1st Shift Material Handler / Stacker

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Paid Weekly

Olsten Staffing is currently seeking hardworking and reliable Material Handlers/Stackers for a 1st shift opportunity in the Lamar area. This position involves handling and stacking steel products, supporting production operations, and ensuring materials are organized and prepared for shipment.

Schedule

Monday – Thursday
6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Possible overtime on Fridays

Job Responsibilities

  • Stack, sort, and organize steel beams and finished products

  • Assist with material handling and product movement throughout the facility

  • Band and prepare products for storage and shipment

  • Inspect materials for quality and report any defects or damages

  • Follow proper stacking procedures to ensure product stability and workplace safety

  • Assist production teams with general labor duties as needed

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or material handling experience preferred

  • Ability to perform repetitive lifting, stacking, and moving of steel products throughout the shift

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment

  • Strong attention to safety and detail

  • Dependable attendance and reliable transportation

  • Ability to work overtime when needed

  • Must be able to pass a tape test

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry, and stack materials consistently throughout the shift

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and work in a non-climate-controlled environment

  • Ability to perform physically demanding work in a team-oriented setting
