Direct Hire Pest Control Technician

Lake City, SC Area

Immediate Opening – Direct Hire Position

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Olsten Staffing is currently recruiting for a dependable and hardworking Pest Control Technician for a direct hire opportunity in the Lake City, SC area. The ideal candidate will be reliable, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a variety of environments, including crawl spaces, attics, and under homes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Inspect residential and commercial properties for pest activity.

  • Evaluate the extent of pest infestations and determine appropriate treatment methods.

  • Apply pesticides, chemicals, and other pest control treatments safely and effectively.

  • Operate and maintain pest control equipment and spray systems.

  • Educate customers on pest prevention and treatment recommendations.

  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

  • Follow all company safety procedures and industry regulations.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean 10-year driving record (must provide driving record).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to crawl under houses, enter crawl spaces, and work in confined areas.

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials.

  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.

  • Basic knowledge of safety procedures related to chemicals and pesticides.

Preferred:

  • Previous pest control experience.

  • Knowledge of pest control equipment and treatment methods.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials.

  • Ability to bend, kneel, crawl, climb, and work in confined spaces.

  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Pay Details: $16.00 per hour
