Olsten Staffing is hiring an Electrical Engineer III to join an innovative and hands-on engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who is results-driven and experienced in electrical and embedded systems design. 🚀
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop hardware and software for control systems, including HMI devices, power electronics, and electromechanical components ⚙️
Create and maintain testing processes, including lab testing, calculations, and performance evaluations
Prepare technical drawings and documentation for manufacturing
Lead root cause analysis and troubleshoot electrical and electronic component failures
Collaborate with repair teams to improve product quality and reliability
Support supply chain efforts, including sourcing, cost reduction, and parts availability
Develop upgrade and replacement solutions for obsolete or hard-to-source components
Maintain and update spare parts information and documentation
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field 🎓
Strong experience in embedded hardware, software, and firmware design
Knowledge of analog/digital design, power electronics, and communication interfaces (RS422/RS485/CAN)
Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, VB.NET, Assembly, or MATLAB
Understanding of communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB)
Experience with PCBA design and microprocessor-based systems
Familiarity with CAD tools such as Altium, Orcad, KiCAD, or Eagle
Experience using lab/test equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.)
Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills

Pay Details: $60.15 to $67.67 per hour
