Now Hiring: Skilled Painter / Sheetrock (Drywall) Technician
Olsten Staffing is currently recruiting a Skilled Painter/Sheetrock Technician.
Shift: 3rd Shift (7:30 PM – 6:00 AM)
Pay Rate: $15 – $25/hour (based on experience)
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Painter/Sheetrock Technician to install, repair, finish, and paint drywall surfaces in a commercial environment. The ideal candidate will take pride in delivering high-quality work while maintaining safety and efficiency on the job site.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, hang, and secure sheetrock (drywall) panels
Tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall to create smooth surfaces
Repair damaged walls, holes, and cracks
Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding and priming
Apply primers, paints, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
Match paint colors and ensure consistent, high-quality finishes
Protect floors, furniture, and fixtures prior to painting
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Follow all safety guidelines and job site procedures
Read and interpret basic blueprints or work orders
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in drywall installation and painting
Knowledge of taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing techniques
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable transportation and strong attendance

Pay Details: $15.00 to $25.00 per hour
