EHS/QA Coordinator
Location: Effingham, SC
Shift: Day Shift
A growing manufacturing facility in Effingham, SC is seeking an EHS/QA Coordinator to support plant safety compliance and assist the Quality department. This role reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and plays a key role in maintaining safety, environmental compliance, and product quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily EHS inspections and safety audits
Maintain safety training records and ensure regulatory compliance
Monitor corrective actions from safety and environmental audits
Deliver plant safety training programs
Perform SPC verification and daily quality monitoring
Assist with SQF audit preparation
Support pollution prevention and hazardous waste handling
Prepare samples for shipment
Follow all food safety and quality procedures
Assist QA Manager with quality documentation and reporting
Qualifications
1–3 years experience in Environmental Health & Safety
1–3 years experience in Quality Control
Manufacturing experience preferred
Knowledge of EHS regulations and quality systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
Physical / Work Environment
Frequent standing and walking in a manufacturing environment
Occasional kneeling/crouching
Ability to lift up to 15 lbs
Exposure to noise, dust, and industrial conditions
Pay Details: $18.00 to $24.00 per hour
