Olsten Staffing is currently hiring for an Accounts Payable Specialist on behalf of a wellāestablished company in the Florence area. We are seeking a detailāoriented, motivated accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to grow their career.
āØ Position Summary
The Accounts Payable Specialist will manage the full accounts payable cycle, support the Controller, and assist with general accounting operations. Strong Excel skills and an understanding of accounting principles are essential.
š Key Responsibilities
Review, verify, and process invoices and expense reports
Match purchase orders with invoices and resolve discrepancies
Ensure timely vendor payments and maintain accurate records
Reconcile AP transactions and support monthāend close
Maintain vendor files and respond to inquiries
Assist with audits and documentation
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are current
Process electronic transfers and payments
Support the Controller with reporting and ad hoc tasks
Assist with AP/AR daily operations
Reconcile, process, file, and pay Sales Tax
Prepare and maintain financial records and spreadsheets
š Qualifications
Associateās or Bachelorās degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
2+ years of AP or general accounting experience
Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
ā Preferred Skills
Experience with ERP systems
Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
Experience with 1099 and sales/use tax

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
