Schedule:
Monday: 6:30 AM â 3:00 PM
TuesdayâThursday: 6:45 AM â 3:15 PM
Friday: 6:45 AM â 3:00 PM
Start: 04/2026
Dress Code: Professional
Requirements:
đ What Does a Mailroom Specialist Do?
This position plays a crucial role in handling inbound and outbound mail operations. You will also drive a box van to pick up mail from various vendors and transport heavy mail racks. Candidates must be comfortable with physical work, accuracy, and fastâpaced processes.
đ Key Responsibilities
Drive a box van to collect mail from multiple vendor locations
Push heavy mail racks weighing hundreds of pounds
Open, prep, and scan incoming mail
Prep electronic incoming mail (EâPrep/FTP)
Process outbound mail using postal equipment (mail inserters, postage meters, computers)
Handle outgoing overnight packages
Perform general mail services associate tasks
Maintain accurate documentation
Perform additional duties as assigned
đ Education Requirements
â Knowledge, Skills & Physical Requirements
Ability to stand or sit for long periods
Basic computer skills
Strong decisionâmaking skills
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to handle varying assignments
Ability to learn multiple procedures and workflows
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
đ Previous Experience
Mailroom experience is required
Experience operating mail equipment preferred
Driving/route experience a plus
