Human Resources / Environmental, Health & Safety (HR / EHS) Manager

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $70,000 annually

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources / Environmental, Health & Safety (HR/EHS) Manager to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for overseeing HR functions while ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about fostering a safe, compliant, and positive workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Manage employee relations, onboarding, training, and performance management

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

  • Maintain employee records, policies, and HR documentation

  • Support recruiting and staffing needs for manufacturing roles

  • Assist leadership with employee engagement and retention initiatives

Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS)

  • Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements

  • Conduct safety training, audits, and incident investigations

  • Maintain safety records, reports, and corrective action plans

  • Promote a culture of safety throughout the facility

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (required)

  • 3+ years of HR and/or EHS experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and employment law

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with management

Pay Details: $33.65 to $70.00 per year
