Welder (MIG/TIG) – 1st Shift

Olsten Staffing is seeking skilled MIG/TIG Welders for a reputable metal company in Florence, SC. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity for candidates with strong welding experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Position Summary
The Welder will be responsible for welding, fabricating, installing, and repairing metal structures and components. This role requires the ability to read blueprints, take precise measurements, and work with raw materials using standard welding tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG and TIG welding on metal components and structures
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Measure materials accurately using a tape measure and other tools
Operate standard welding and fabrication equipment safely
Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and structural integrity
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all company and OSHA safety standards
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of welding experience (MIG and TIG required)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Strong measurement and fabrication skills
Familiarity with standard welding tools and shop equipment
Good physical condition and stamina for a 12-hour shift
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Valid driver’s license (required)

Pay Details: $15.00 to $25.00 per hour
