Olsten Staffing – Data Clerk (Dillon, SC)
Part-Time: 20–29 hours per week (hours may vary)
Pay Rate: $17/hour


Job Summary

Olsten Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Data Clerk to support shipping, receiving, and administrative tasks in a manufacturing environment. This role involves scanning, filing, data entry, and assisting with maintenance and shipping processes. The ideal candidate is organized, has basic computer skills, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver packages to departments as needed.

  • Support receiving and shipping processes (maintenance-related, not product-related), including:

    • Scanning packing slips and filing in the shared drive.

    • Documenting damaged shipments by taking photos and sending to purchasing for return processing.

  • Assist with factory store projects.

  • Support 6S initiatives for GBE Shipping.

  • Enter requisitions for maintenance and GBE shipping.


Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of shipping processes and equipment; prior forklift experience preferred.

  • Ability to navigate intranet and locate process documents.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions.


Experience & Education

  • 0–1 year of manufacturing experience, prior military experience, or technical certification/degree.

  • GED or High School diploma required.

  • Minimum of 6 months’ experience operating powered industrial equipment.


Working Conditions

  • Exposure to indoor/outdoor manufacturing environment and moderate noise.

  • May include working in small spaces, dust, fumes, odors, hot/cold temperatures, and uneven or wet surfaces.

  • Must be able to work any shift, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.


Physical Requirements

  • Lift and carry up to 35 lbs repetitively.

  • Stand, walk, bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist, and work at heights intermittently for up to 12 hours.

  • Perform hand manipulations including grasping, pushing, and pulling.

  • Safely operate an overhead crane.

  • Reach and work above and below shoulder level.

  • Work safely around forklifts and hazardous machinery.

  • Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

  • Possess visual acuity to detect flaws in parts during inspection.

Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
