Olsten Staffing is currently seeking a highly organized and experienced Production Scheduler to lead and manage the scheduling of our manufacturing operations. This role is essential in driving efficiency, coordinating resources, and ensuring on-time delivery for our customers. The ideal candidate will collaborate across departments to developments to develop and maintain production schedules, monitor performance, and continuously seek process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Scheduling:
Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient workflows.

Demand Management:
Balance customer demand with production capacity to meet delivery timelines while proactively addressing potential disruptions.

Capacity Planning:
Analyze production capacity and resource availability to identify bottlenecks and optimize resource allocation.

Inventory Oversight:
Monitor inventory levels to ensure material availability while minimizing waste and excess stock.

Performance Reporting:
Track key production metrics, generate regular status reports, and recommend areas for process improvement.

Cross-Department Collaboration:
Partner with production, operations, supply chain, and sales teams to maintain clear communication and seamless coordination.

Problem Solving:
Quickly address and resolve issues related to materials, labor, equipment, and scheduling to keep production on track.

Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and solve complex production challenges.

  • Excellent multitasking and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Clear, effective communication skills with both internal teams and external partners.

  • Experience with ERP or production scheduling software is a plus.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials is preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Pay Rate

$24.50-$31.00 Based on experience

1st Shift 10 hour shift

Pay Details: $24.50 to $31.00 per hour
