Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in Cheraw, South Carolina to find an experienced and eager cook/kitchen worker to join their growing team!
The Cook/Kitchen Worker will support meal preparation and general kitchen operations in a manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate should be reliable, able to follow instructions, maintain a clean work area, and work safely in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and cook meals according to the established menu plan.
Manually wash pots, pans, dishes, and utensils used in food preparation.
Clean stoves, countertops, and tabletops in the canteen.
Stock snacks, cups, plates, utensils, and other kitchen supplies.
Mop and maintain floors in the kitchen area.
Safely empty waste oil from the deep fryer.
Empty trash from containers throughout the kitchen area.
Put grocery items and deliveries away on the appropriate shelves.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and canteen area.
Follow all applicable food safety and workplace safety procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Pay Details: $12.00 per hour
