Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in Cheraw, South Carolina to find an experienced and eager material handler / inventory helper to join their growing team!
The Material Handler / Inventory Helper will assist with inventory management, material movement, and warehouse organization. This is a temporary assignment ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Move and organize materials throughout the warehouse using a forklift or other material handling equipment.
Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
Load, unload, and stage materials for production or shipping.
Verify quantities and inspect materials for accuracy.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Complete inventory logs, documentation, and other required paperwork.
Communicate with team members to ensure materials are available when needed.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license or current forklift certification required.
Forklift experience preferred; must be able to safely operate or obtain certification if needed.
Basic math skills, including counting and simple inventory calculations.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in material handling and inventory counts.
Good housekeeping habits and commitment to workplace safety.
Basic written communication skills for logs and documentation.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
Ability to lift and handle up to 50 pounds on a continuous basis.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Details: $12.50 per hour
