Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in Cheraw, South Carolina to find an experienced and eager Medical Office Manager to join their growing team!

The Medical Office Manager oversees the daily administrative operations of the practice, ensuring efficient workflows, high-quality patient service, and compliance with healthcare regulations. This role also supports basic financial functions, including payment collection and coordination with billing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Office Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the medical office

  • Supervise front desk and administrative staff

  • Ensure efficient patient scheduling, check-in, and check-out processes

  • Maintain office policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance

Staff Supervision

  • Train, schedule, and evaluate administrative team members

  • Foster a positive and professional work environment

  • Address staff concerns and support performance improvement

Patient Experience

  • Ensure excellent customer service and patient satisfaction

  • Handle patient concerns and resolve issues promptly

  • Maintain a welcoming and organized office environment

Financial & Payment Support

  • Oversee collection of patient payments, including copays and outstanding balances

  • Ensure accurate daily reconciliation of payments

  • Support billing processes by coordinating with billing staff or third-party services

  • Assist patients with general billing and payment inquiries

Administrative & Compliance Duties

  • Maintain accurate patient and office records

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations

  • Manage office supplies, vendors, and facility needs

  • Prepare basic operational and financial reports

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (preferred)

  • 2–4 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting

  • Prior supervisory or management experience preferred

  • Familiarity with EHR/practice management systems

Pay Details: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour
