Olsten Staffing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented 2nd shift Production Operator to support a local client in Cheraw, South Carolina.
The Production Operator will be responsible for loading, handling, and preparing components—such as covers, stators, and rotors—onto work trays, as well as ensuring smooth workflow, adherence to quality standards, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload components (e.g., covers, stators, rotors) onto work trays according to production schedules and instructions.
Operate basic production equipment and follow established procedures to support assembly and processing.
Inspect components for defects or irregularities before and after loading.
Maintain accurate counts of parts and verify proper identification of components.
Follow work instructions, diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Assist in staging materials and organizing work areas to ensure efficient workflow.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a clean and hazard-free environment.
Report equipment malfunctions, material shortages, or quality issues to supervisors.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to overall production goals.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
Ability to follow instructions, read work orders, and use basic measuring tools.
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Ability to lift, move, and handle components safely.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing floor with exposure to machinery, moving equipment, and moderate noise levels.
Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
Ability to work hours of 3pm – 11pm.
Pay rate for this position is $12 an hour.

Pay Details: $12.00 per hour
