Schedule: 12-Hour Swing/Rotating Shifts
Olsten Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Forklift Operator / Material Handler for a client in the Wagram, NC area.
This position works a 12-hour rotating schedule, alternating between day and night shifts every 4 weeks, including approximately 2 weekends per month. Candidates must be comfortable working both days and nights.
Job Responsibilities
Safely operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility.
Load and unload trucks, trailers, and production materials.
Transport finished products and raw materials to designated areas.
Stage materials for production and shipping.
Verify materials, quantities, and product information for accuracy.
Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records.
Perform general material-handling and warehouse duties as needed.
Inspect forklift equipment and report any safety or maintenance concerns.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all company safety procedures and facility guidelines.
Assist production and warehouse teams as needed.
Qualifications
Previous forklift operating experience required.
Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or material-handling experience preferred.
Ability to work 12-hour rotating day and night shifts.
Must be available to work approximately 2 weekends per month.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to safety and detail.
Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform physical material-handling duties throughout the shift.
