Olsten Staffing is currently seeking a Lumber Sorter for a client in Laurinburg, NC. This is a great entry-level, temp-to-permanent opportunity with room to grow!
Position Details:
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure lumber bays have space for incoming materials
Monitor and sort lumber, removing defective boards from the line
Drop lumber from bays while ensuring correct placement and flow
Communicate lumber quantity and grade to stacker operators via radio and visual signals
Maintain steady production flow by adjusting and correcting lumber as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Work Environment:
Standing on a production line throughout the shift
Inspecting pallet boards and removing defective pieces
Requirements:
Steel toe boots required
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Pay Details: $14.00 per hour
