Now Hiring: Twister Operators – 2nd & 3rd Shifts
Are you looking for a stable, full-time opportunity with growth potential? We are hiring Twister Operators to join our team on 2nd shift (3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.) and 3rd shift (11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.).
Position Summary
The Twister Operator is responsible for setting up and operating twisting machines that twist together two or more strands of yarn to increase strength, smoothness, and uniformity. This role plays a key part in maintaining production quality and efficiency in accordance with established standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Remove (doff) completed yarn packages at correct yardage and prepare for unloading.
  • Inspect yarn packages for quality and place non-conforming materials in designated areas.
  • Creel frames with yarn packages and air splice as needed.
  • Record mechanical defects and properly tag equipment requiring repair.
  • Perform quality checks and correct defects on assigned frames.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Ensure housekeeping standards are met in work areas.
  • Safely handle and dispose of waste.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous machine operator experience preferred (2 years a plus).
  • Prior twisting experience a plus but not required training is provided.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing/walking for 8+ hours, lifting up to 30 lbs., bending, stooping, kneeling, and working in hot and dusty environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Work Environment & Schedule
  • Team-based environment working around moving equipment.
  • Full-time, Monday through Friday with overtime as needed (including weekends or holidays).
  • Standard Shifts:
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
  • 3rd Shift: 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Pay
Pay for these positions will start at $18.92 an hour plus overtime.


Pay Details: $18.92 per hour
