Olsten Staffing is currently recruiting for an Associate Manufacturing Technician in the Florence, SC area.


Job Title: Associate Manufacturing Technician

Overview:
The Associate Manufacturing Technician supports key manufacturing lab functions including image reviews, robotic equipment operation, equipment loading and unloading, and product packaging within a controlled production environment. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to all safety and quality standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute the daily production schedule, including changeovers, reviews, and packaging using both manual and automated processes.

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete all assigned tasks.

  • Interpret and carry out written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.

  • Apply basic math skills as needed for production tasks.

  • Communicate status updates and production progress to department Leads and Supervisors.

  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.


Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle or operate tools, controls, or objects.

  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms, and to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

  • Occasionally required to sit.

  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.


Working Environment:

  • Frequent exposure to varying temperature conditions; appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is provided for all tasks.

  • Work near or around moving mechanical parts; SOPs, JSAs, and PPE assessments ensure safe operation.

  • Possible exposure to hazardous chemicals with all company safety protocols in place.

  • Noise levels do not exceed OSHA limits; ear protection is available upon request.


Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required.

  • College degree preferred.


Schedule:

  • Rotating 12-hour shifts:

    • Day Shift: 6:15 AM – 6:45 PM

    • Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 6:15 AM

    • Rotation: 2 weeks on days, 2 weeks on nights (48 hours one week, 36 hours the next).

  • Up to 2 weeks of day shift training provided.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour
